Mid Century Gordon Russell Double Helix Sideboard 1953 Iconic Design (2 of 2)
A Mahogany and rosewood sideboard designed by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer for Gordon Russell of Broadway. Model 407 originally exhibited at the Festival of Britain in 1951, later went into production in 1953, and has become an iconic piece of mid 20th century furniture.
Routed rosewood doors with a double helix pattern hung within a mahogany frame, brass ring handles with an internal baize lined cutlery drawer.
The item has been cleaned and benefited from a coat of Danish oil.
We have two of these for sale and would happily do a deal for both.
