A very beautiful Ercol sideboard, made from Elm, it has a lovely pale patina to the wood and the grain shows really nicely. There is some lovely dove-tailing detail to the top. There are a few signs of wear and tear, marks on the top, and the wooden handles are damaged, but strangely this doesn't look out of place at all! It's still a very desirable piece of furniture and although manufactured in the 1960s and obviously of that time with the elegant tapered legs, it has a rustic look to it and would great in a country style kitchen or cottage dining room...
