This very handsome large vintage rocking horse is quite likely to be from Collinson's of Liverpool - but there is no label unfortunately.

This lovely chap has retained all of its original character - the paintwork is original as is the padded saddle which is waxed cloth. Over all a beautifully made Rocking Horse with many distinctive features and a very pretty face. It is in usable condition, with signs of wear conducive to its age and use. But as with anything of great age, it should be respected and if used, only very gently and with supervision and care!

Collinson's were a very reputable manufacturing company for Rocking Horses, based in Liverpool from 1836 to the late 20th century.
