A smart and very well made yew wood military campaign style pedestal desk. This was made in England, c. 1930’s.

It is of superb quality and is a beautifully designed and practical item. The green inset leather top is gold tooled and has a brass rim around the entire outer edge. This has lovely brass military handles and brackets on the corners. The yew has a lovely colour tone and grain patterns.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. The back is also nicely polished, so this can be used as a free standing item.
