This is a stunning piece of history. An 18th century (c.1720) solid oak sideboard (almost certainly a dresser base once upon a time). In wonderful antique condition, this large piece of furniture has been French polished over time.

The carving, we think, is a later addition by the Victorians, but we're not sure. The detailing of forest people and floral motifs is stunning. A wonderfully evocative piece!
