A pretty, early 20th Century tripod Gypsy Table with a pine top and bobbin turned fruitwood legs, of really good proportion and with its original fringed velvet top.

The item has a round upholstered top, in a dark red velvet with a gold fringed edge, tacked in place with the brass decorative pins.

The turned base has a lovely patina with some wear and the original worn gilded gold paint. The table is solid and stands nicely with no wobbles.,

An unusual, original piece, this table is a useful size and a charming piece of folk art, perfect as a beside table or as a lamp table.
