This cast iron bench was made by Melins metal foundry, Anderstorp in Sweden in the 1960s. We have left the bench in its original state, which we feel adds to the charm of the piece.

Designed in the 1950s and produced in the 1960s, in Sweden, the design of ferns curling around the back has a luxurious mid century Scandi feel - with a touch of Art Nouveau and Regency.  No identifying marks, but this piece has been attributed based on archival documentation, such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources.
